Welcome to SoutheastEMTB.org, the premier resource for e-mountain biking (eMTB) in the Southeastern USA!  Whether you’re new to eMTB or a seasoned rider, this site is here to help you discover amazing trails, learn valuable tips, and connect with a growing community of riders who share a passion for exploring the outdoors on two wheels.

Who Am I?  My name is Tom, and I’ve been riding bikes through the woods for over 40 years. Sporting an extraordinarily long learning curve, I certainly wouldn’t call myself an expert in mountain biking, but I’m definitely an enthusiast!

For me, discovering eMTB was an absolute game changer. It made me realize that, over the past few years, I have been riding less and seeking “flatter” trails.  Now that I have an eMTB, I am re-energized, and tackling trails that are still in my skill set, but were previously out of my comfort zone due to extreme climbs or long distances.

Seeing a lack of dedicated resources focused on eMTB in the Southeast, I created this site to share my experiences, provide useful information, and help others get started in this exciting sport.
