WHAT IS AN e-MOUNTAIN BIKE?

Southeast e-Mountain Bike Riders enjoy some of the best trails and most beautiful nature in the country.  But, what is an e-Mountain Bike?

An e-mountain bike (eMTB) is a mountain bike equipped with an electric motor and battery that assists the rider while pedaling

They retain the rugged features of a traditional mountain bike but provide extra power to help with climbing hills, tackling rough terrain, and extending ride distances.

eMTBs make mountain biking more fun and accessible and improve rider confidence.  Studies show eMTBs provide similar fitness experiences to traditional Mountain Bikes, with less fatigue and joint stress.

Why eMTB?

Imagine Mountain Biking … but without the sucky parts!  E-mountain biking is  a great way to get exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and bring more people into the sport of mountain biking. eMTBs make riding more accessible by allowing riders to conquer tough climbs and longer trails, while staying within their skill set, making the sport more enjoyable for beginners and seasoned cyclists alike.
